About Seedo’s Bakery

Located at 181 W Madison St, Chicago, IL 60602, Seedo’s Bakery operates as a bakery serving Chicago in Illinois. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–3 pm. It is closed on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Chicago is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Chicago follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

You simply most eat here!!!! Delicious pastry, delightful coffee, lovely ambiance in a busy city. I had the tahini latte and the zaatar labneh croissant. Ugh, I wish I could have this for breakfast every day!!! So so good.

The day Seedo’s reaches the SW suburbs you will find me there everyday. I dream of their sandwiches- the fluffy bread with a crisp exterior, the fresh ingredients that are all so incredibly balanced, and the perfect amount of sauce in each…🤤 their pastries are equally delicious, especially the date cake! I can’t wait to try their coffee next!

All of their pastries are amazing, am particularly partial to the za'atar croissant with labneh. Their caramel tahini latte (mine with almond milk) is now a weekly cheat day fixation!

I got a pastrami and my sisters got the turkey - both were delicious! Great cappuccino as well. Looking forward to trying their pastries next time

This bakery is a gem for anyone who loves handmade food done right. The sandwiches are made fresh, thoughtfully put together, and absolutely delicious—great bread, quality ingredients, and flavors that feel both comforting and elevated. The pastries are just as impressive: fresh, flaky, and clearly baked with care. A perfect spot for a relaxed breakfast or lunch when you want something genuinely good.
